As a Leasing Professional, you'll create a positive prospect and resident experience by conducting tours, assisting with leasing activities, preparing lease documents, and building strong resident relationships. This is a customer-focused, on-site role that may include weekend availability and flexible scheduling based on community needs. What You'll Do Greet and engage prospective residents, conduct informative tours of available apartment homes, and clearly explain lease terms and community features. Follow up with prospective residents across phone, email, SMS, and portals to convert leads into applications and signed leases. Process rental applications, including background, credit, and income verification, in alignment with Fair Housing and applicable laws. Prepare and execute lease agreements and all required addenda, disclosures, and move-in documents using approved templates and e-sign workflows. Communicate renewals, policy updates, and community notices to residents using approved templates; track acknowledgments and maintain complete records. Create and track work orders for residents; coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs, proactive updates, and resident satisfaction. Monitor community amenities (mailrooms, fitness centers, laundry facilities), document walkthroughs, and promptly report or escalate issues. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents through proactive communication, service recovery, and follow-through on commitments. What You'll Bring High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Previous multifamily leasing experience required. Working knowledge of property management principles and applicable housing laws (Fair Housing, landlord-tenant) or willingness to learn. Strong verbal and written communication; able to explain lease terms in plain language. Customer service mindset with negotiation and problem-solving skills. Reliable, organized, and comfortable managing high-volume communications and time-sensitive tasks.
Systems savvy:
able to learn PMS, CRM, screening, e-sign, and work order platforms (experience with Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or AppFolio is a plus). Cash handling discipline and attention to detail for accurate posting and reconciliation. Bilingual abilities are required! Availability to work extended hours, including weekends (highly preferred). If driving on company business is required for this role, a valid driver's license may be needed.
