Full Job Description Summary of Position:

▪ Maintains day-to-day understanding of departmental needs; supports the accomplishment of daily goals and tasks. ▪ Maintains inventory; responsible for quantity and quality of all items. ▪ Must be able to work 8-5pm Monday through Friday. ▪ Not a climate-controlled job.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Inventory

Maintaining inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
Meeting warehouse financial standards by maintaining inventory information (Excel) identifying purchasing opportunities, and reconciling discrepancies.
Organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending and implementing improvements.
Delivering supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
Preserving equipment by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Things To Work On Best practices for linen care. Learn all the table sizes/what linens go with and what kinds of other linens are out there. Trends in the industry. Specific Tasks Linen Cleaning Supervises the spotting and washing of all stained linens. Responsible for the correct folding of all items and wrapping. Dish Cleaning Supervises the washing of all glass. Responsible for the correct bagging of all items and wrapping. Cleaning popcorn, snow cone and cotton candy machines -making sure they are in working condition. Quick turn around on all orders. Loading and unloading vehicles. Inventory. Cleaning Of Facility. Laundering and keeping track of orders- also who picks it up and making surer the inventory is counted upon return.
