The Returns team focuses on optimization of the returns practice and maintains vendor relations with our partners related to returns. The Returns Specialist is responsible for processing product return authorization paperwork in order to have the product returned to our suppliers in a timely manner.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Partner with vendors to manage returns for all returned product, including defective, open box, damaged and stocked products Provide regular updates for pending vendor return authorizations Regularly follow up with vendors for all pending return authorizations to ensure they are processed in a timely manner Escalate to management unresolved returns, as well as returns that exceed specified time-frames Appropriately prioritize the processing and follow actions for pending return authorizations

• The Returns Specialist is responsible for the daily activities of all company returns
• This individual is responsible for processing return requests from customers across the country
• Research and resolve returns issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Understands the terms and conditions for warranty, non-warranty and special customer agreements
• Communicate with Customer Service Representatives, Account Managers, Warehouse Associates and Inside Sales Representatives regularly regarding returns
• Works with Accounts Payable on applying credits to and research credits received from vendors

Required Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers/vendors at all levels Proven ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities simultaneously Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and be flexible in shifting priorities in a fast paced and changing environment Ability to lift boxes up to 25 pounds and on occasion work in the warehouse Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) with ability to quickly learn business specific software
