Compensation:

10% commission on eligible collected equipment rental revenue, uncapped. No base salary. The displayed $75,000-$200,000 annual range represents potential commission earnings, not guaranteed pay. Actual earnings depend on eligible rental revenue generated and may fall below or exceed this range. Help build the business—and the fleet Bald Eagle Equipment Rental is a new, quickly growing equipment rental company serving contractors and homeowners in the western Chicago suburbs. We are looking for an entrepreneurial sales professional who wants to get in on the ground floor and help shape what we become. Our initial fleet includes mini excavators, compact track loaders, a boom lift, generators, light towers, heaters and equipment trailers. We have the ability to add equipment quickly as customer demand develops. Your opportunity extends beyond renting the equipment we have today: you will work directly with ownership to identify what customers need and help guide what we buy next. If you see repeat demand for scissor lifts, additional excavators or another equipment category, bring us the opportunity. Help establish the demand, develop the rental business and make the case for expanding the fleet to serve it. This role offers direct access to ownership and meaningful influence over fleet selection, customer segments and territory growth. We want someone who thinks commercially, takes initiative and wants their results to shape the direction of the company. Build your book without a preset earnings ceiling Earn 10% of eligible collected equipment rental revenue from the accounts you develop, including qualifying repeat rentals under the written commission agreement. There is no commission cap. The more rental business you build and sustain, the more you can earn. Our initial fleet is a starting point, not a fixed limit on the opportunity. We intend to expand equipment capacity alongside supported demand and give our first sales representative room to build a substantial book before adding salespeople as coverage needs exceed that person's capacity. For perspective, $1 million in eligible collected rental revenue produces $100,000 in commission; $2 million produces $200,000. These illustrate the commission formula, not guaranteed earnings. This is a commission-only contract role with no base salary. Commission is calculated on equipment rental charges, excluding taxes, refundable deposits, delivery, fuel, damage charges, damage-waiver charges, refunds and other non-rental fees. Account attribution, payment timing and qualifying repeat rentals are governed by the written agreement. What you will do Develop rental relationships with excavation, landscaping, concrete, remodeling and other local contractors. Find opportunities through jobsite visits, networking, calls and consistent follow-up. Understand project requirements and match customers with the right equipment. Coordinate quotes, availability and delivery requirements with Bald Eagle. Build repeat accounts and anticipate upcoming rental needs. Identify unmet demand and recommend equipment additions directly to ownership. Help shape our approach to local markets, customer service and business growth. Keep clear records of opportunities, account activity and follow-up. Bald Eagle handles rental agreements, final pricing and purchase approvals, payment processing, equipment preparation, delivery scheduling and maintenance. You focus on developing business and helping us decide where to grow. As an independent representative, you manage your prospecting methods and schedule.
