To rent vehicles to clients, and offer other types of products, such as car upgrades, GPS systems or additional insurance; maintaining proper rental files while preparing and servicing vehicles prior to rental, including refueling, cleaning and washing, checking fluids and pressure levels of all vehicles when applicable
Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30
PM Essential Duties:
Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner; make reservations and quote pricing and availability to customers Greet clients as they arrive and determine nature of visit Verify driver license and insurance information, make copies for customer file Check that reserved vehicles are ready to go out; inspect vehicles for damage and ensure all features are functioning (i.e., lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors, back-up lights, etc.), fill gasoline tank and check/fill all fluids Completing rental agreements with customers and obtaining customer's signature; reviewing the terms of rental agreements with customers Transfer information from the loaner agreement to computer tracking program
Qualifications:
Customer centered attitude and a strong desire to succeed Valid driver's license, eligible to be insurable in accordance with our policy and dealership standards Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills; well organized and self-motivated. Basic skills using a computer, fax machine, copier, etc.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time Ability to work in all types of weather conditions Hazards from moving vehicles Candidates must successfully complete a drug test, background check, driver's license check, and CORI check.
