Billy Mitchell Jewelry is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Jewelry Sales & Service Associate to join our team. This is a unique floater position designed for someone who enjoys working with people but also likes hands-on work. This team member will divide their time between assisting customers on the sales floor and helping with basic jewelry care and service tasks as needed. No advanced jewelry repair experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right personality, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. What You'll Do Sales & Customer Service Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Assist customers with jewelry purchases and product selection Learn about jewelry, diamonds, watches, and other merchandise Help customers with jewelry repair drop-offs and pick-ups Answer basic questions regarding jewelry care and repair services Assist the sales team during busy periods Help maintain organized, and well-stocked showcases Help maintain the store with cleaning Build relationships with customers and contribute to the welcoming atmosphere Billy Mitchell Jewelry is known for Jewelry Care & Service Support Clean and polish jewelry using proper equipment and procedures Assist with basic jewelry maintenance and care Inspect jewelry for obvious wear or potential concerns before and after cleaning Properly handle and protect customers' jewelry while it is in our care Assist our jewelers with basic service-related tasks as needed Keep jewelry cleaning and service areas clean, organized, and properly maintained Learn additional jewelry-care and service skills through on-the-job training Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who can comfortably move between talking with customers and performing detailed, hands-on work.

You should be:

Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable working with the public Professional and dependable Detail-oriented and careful when handling valuable merchandise Willing to learn new skills Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team Able to shift between different responsibilities throughout the day Organized and able to follow procedures carefully Someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, even with small details Previous retail, customer service, jewelry, or jewelry repair experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate . About the Position This is a split/floater position , meaning your responsibilities will change based on the needs of the store. Some days may involve more customer interaction and sales, while others may include more jewelry cleaning, polishing, service support, and behind-the-scenes work.
