Overview:

As a Retail Sales Associate at Road Runner Stores, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within our convenience stores and gas stations.

Duties:

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store or call in
• Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions
• Assist customers in locating products within the store
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
• Upsell promotions and offers to customers
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves
• Ensure compliance with product dating guidelines
• Be punctual for scheduled shifts and demonstrate good cash handling skills

Skills:

• Proficiency in POS systems
• Strong basic math skills
• Technical sales knowledge is a plus
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Proven experience in upselling products
• Competent in cash handling procedures
• Prior experience in customer service is preferred
• Familiarity with retail environments like grocery stores or jewelry/electronics sales

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent One year of Convenience Store experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is beneficial
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old (with parental consent if under 21)
