We currently operate at multiple farmers markets, night markets, and festivals throughout Los Angeles , and we're looking for someone energetic, reliable, and outgoing to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, selling a product they're excited about, and learning how a small food business operates and grows. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a temporary weekend job. As our business continues to expand, we hope to find someone who is willing to learn, take on more responsibility, and grow with us long-term.

Responsibilities:

Set up and break down our farmers market or night market booth Greet customers and create a friendly, welcoming experience Explain our products, flavors, and ingredients to customers Actively engage with customers and help drive sales Prepare and distribute product samples Handle cash and card transactions accurately Keep the booth clean, organized, and visually appealing Monitor product inventory throughout the event Communicate inventory, sales, and event updates with management Help transport products, coolers, and booth equipment when required Help out in the kitchen and be part of our production team

Requirements:

Must be available Friday through Sunday Reliable and punctual Friendly, energetic, confident, and comfortable approaching customers Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced farmers market, night market, or festival environment Fluent in English Sales, food service, farmers market, or event experience is preferred but not required Willingness to learn and grow within a small business Must have reliable transportation Ideally have a 4-door sedan, SUV, or small truck that can transport products and market supplies Must be comfortable lifting and moving coolers and market equipment. Some loaded coolers may weigh up to approximately 90 lbs. Schedule Our busiest days are Friday through Sunday , so open weekend availability is required. We operate at a variety of: Farmers markets Night markets Food festivals Community events Special events throughout Los Angeles Hours and locations may vary depending on the event. Additional kitchen shifts may also be available during the week for team members who are looking for more hours. Growth Opportunity We are still a small and growing business, which means there is a lot of opportunity to learn. You'll have the chance to see firsthand how a food business operates—from production and inventory to markets, festivals, customer service, sales, and expansion. As Rollies Pastries grows, we would love to find team members who can grow with us and potentially take on additional responsibilities and leadership opportunities in the future.
