Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused UPS Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while assisting customers with shipping, packing, printing, mailbox services, and other store operations. A valid Notary Public commission/license , and bilingual candidates are strongly preferred . Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide professional, courteous service. Process domestic and international shipments using UPS and other applicable carriers. Pack, weigh, label, and prepare customer packages for shipment. Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and document services. Process mailbox rentals, package receiving, and other store services. Perform notary services in accordance with California laws and applicable store procedures. Operate POS systems, handle cash and credit-card transactions, and maintain accurate records. Answer phones, respond to customer questions, and resolve routine customer concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment. Follow all company policies, security procedures, and applicable shipping and notary regulations. Assist with opening/closing procedures and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current, active California Notary Public commission/license if applicable. Previous retail, customer service, shipping, office, or UPS Store experience preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills and ability to learn store software and equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple customers and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/move packages as needed. Preferred Skills UPS Store, shipping, or retail experience. Notary experience. Experience with document services and printing equipment. Bilingual communication skills, particularly English/Spanish .
