Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service in our retail store. In this role, you'll help students, parents, and educators select band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons that fit their needs and budget. You'll open and close the store, manage POS transactions, maintain merchandising standards, and support in-store events. You'll collaborate with lesson staff and school service reps, meet sales goals, and share product knowledge, all while promoting a student-focused, inclusive, and music-centered environment. Responsibilities Assist customers with instrument, rental, accessory, and lesson selection Deliver high-quality, student-focused customer service Process sales, rentals, and returns through POS accurately Open and close the store following company procedures Maintain merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness Support and promote in-store events and lesson programs Collaborate with lesson staff and school service representatives Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals Stay current on product knowledge and promotions Handle basic customer issues and escalate when needed Required Skills Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Cash handling Customer service Product merchandising Inventory management Music instrument knowledge Rental program processing Upselling and cross-selling Basic conflict resolution
