General Info:

Candidates with a current badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado will be given heavy preference. If you do not have that, you can apply for this by clicking HERE! (https://sbg.colorado.gov/med-employee-license-application) This is a full time position, regularly scheduled 30-35 hours per week, with overtime when needed. Typically schedule for 5 shifts per week. This position requires open availability, since the store will be open from 8:00am - 9:00pm daily, including holidays and weekends. The only day the store is closed is Christmas Day. We are looking for a dynamic candidate with experience in customer service and cash handling. Previous retail management experience would be fantastic, and any background in the cannabis industry is a big plus. The ideal candidate is upbeat, enjoys engaging with both customers and team members, and is highly organized with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving industry. Given the highly regulated nature of our business, adhering to rules, regulations, and established SOPs is essential. High ethical standards are a must, as you will be responsible for handling both product and cash on a daily basis. Pay - this position starts at $17/hour plus tips.

Job:

Greet customers, answer questions, and provide professional assistance Oversees daily operations during shifts, ensuring all team members take their breaks and lunches. Manages discounts and pricing issues in the Point of Sale (POS) system. Maintains a clean and organized store environment, preparing it for customers at the start of your shift and ensuring it remains tidy throughout the shift. Opens the store as needed, ensuring cash drawers are prepared and balanced for the day. Closes the store when required, including reconciling cash in the drawer, safe, and ATM. Addresses escalated customer service issues as they arise. Ensures compliance with all regulations set forth by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED). Tracks cash movement between drawers and the safe throughout the day, including cash payments for supplies. Counts and records all tips at the end of each shift, ensuring the Front Desk Receptionist receives their share.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

Previous retail, and cash handling experience. Previous cannabis industry experience a huge plus! Ability to accurately count both paper money and coins. Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively. Communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills. Ability to motivate staff with regards to staying on task, providing great customer service, and selling our cool products! We are an EEO Employer.
