Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Fine Jewelry Sales Associate to join our jewelry sales team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in finding and purchasing fine jewelry, provide excellent customer service, be a team leader and contribute to the overall success of the retail store.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain products based on customer needs and desires
• Describe products and explain product features and benefits
• Maintain the aesthetic of the store
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices
• Compute sales prices, total purchases, and receive and process cash or credit payment
• Maintain records related to sales and inventory
• Light computer work and bookkeeping
• Keyholder and security management
• Ability to work weekends

Qualifications & Skills Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in retail sales
• At least 2 years assistant manager or managerial experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic math skills
• Cash handling
• Organizational skills
• Product demonstration abilities
• Technical sales knowledge
• Inventory management and mark-up
• Computer knowledge including Excel, Word and Google Drive
• Social media knowledge for

Facebook and Instagram Preferred:
