Position Overview As a Sales Associate at Westerlind, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming, knowledgeable, and inspiring environment for our customers. You'll support both in-store operations and online fulfillment, ensuring the highest level of customer experience, from helping customers find the perfect gear to preparing online orders for shipment. This position involves hands-on work, including unpacking and organizing inventory, lifting and moving boxes, and maintaining visual and operational standards. Compensation would be $18 - $22/h, looking for both full-time and part-time. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Sales Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to every customer, embodying the Westerlind spirit of curiosity and adventure. Share product knowledge and styling advice to help customers find the right pieces for their lifestyle. Process sales, exchanges, and returns accurately and efficiently. Store Operations & Merchandising Receive, unpack, and organize incoming shipments with attention to accuracy. Lift and move heavy boxes as needed to stock inventory or set up displays. Maintain store cleanliness, visual standards, and an organized stockroom. Maintain the visual merchandising and floor set changes as directed by the Company Visual Merchandiser. Online Orders & Shipping Pick, pack, and ship online orders with care and accuracy. Ensure all packages are labeled and tracked properly for timely delivery. Keep shipping receipts. Communicate with the team about order status, product availability, and restocking needs. Qualifications Previous retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience preferred. Interest in outdoor living, design, or sustainable fashion is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills. Reliable, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic team environment. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
