As a PSE Sales and Services/Distribution Associate, you support retail and mail distribution operations in a USPS Post Office. You assist customers at the counter, sell postal products and services, and accept and process mail and packages. You also help sort and distribute mail, handle basic financial transactions, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced, on-site postal environment with varying duties and schedules. Responsibilities Assist customers at the counter with questions, purchases, and postal service options. Sell postal products and services, including postage, shipping, and related items. Accept and process letters and packages, ensuring proper postage and documentation. Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail within the Post Office. Handle financial transactions and maintain accurate sales and transaction records. Operate point-of-sale and postal computer systems to process customer transactions. Follow USPS procedures and safety guidelines when handling mail and packages. Support general retail and back-office tasks to keep the postal lobby and work areas organized.
