Shop & Yard Support Department:

Service Position Summary The Shop & Yard Support team member plays a key role in maintaining the appearance, organization, and efficiency of the service yard and shop operations. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. The successful candidate will support technicians, assist the parts department, and help ensure all equipment leaving the yard meets company standards. This role can provide a pathway to a future Technician Apprenticeship for individuals who demonstrate commitment and growth. Key Responsibilities Ensure all machines and equipment leaving the yard are clean, presentable, and ready for customer delivery. Maintain high standards for the appearance of equipment, both inside and out. Assist service technicians with shop tasks as needed. Support parts department operations by assisting in the parts bay. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard environment. Help move, stage, and prepare equipment for service, delivery, or pickup. Follow company safety procedures and housekeeping standards. Perform additional duties as assigned to support service department operations. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors and in a shop environment. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as required. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Strong work ethic and desire to learn. Preferred Experience working in a shop, yard, construction, agricultural, or industrial environment. Basic mechanical aptitude. Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained). Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Ability to regularly lift to 50 pounds. Ability to work extended hours when business needs require. Performance KPIs Cab Care WO Completion Rate - % of scheduled cab-cleaning work orders completed and logged in Clue with photo documentation.

?95% weekly. Equipment Staging Turnaround - Time from staging request to unit staged and field-ready (fueled, cleaned, inspected).

to be set by management after baseline period. Yard Organization Audit Score - Weekly 10-point walk-through scored by management.

?8/10, any miss corrected within 24 hours. Field-Ready Reject Rate - Units bounced back or flagged for cleanliness/readiness issues within 48 hours of jobsite deployment.
