Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.Duties:
- Greet customers and provide them with product information and assistance
- Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their needs
- Assist customers in their meat needs and wrap up orders as requested
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Stock shelves and merchandise products as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is desired
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Willing to learn usage of Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of food safety and handling is a plus
