Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to connect students, parents, and educators with the right instruments, accessories, rentals, and lessons. In this customer-facing role, you'll drive store sales, support school music programs, and promote repairs and private lessons. You will handle POS transactions, maintain merchandising standards, and help run in-store events. Working in a collaborative, student-focused environment, you'll use your music knowledge and retail experience to provide outstanding service and support our mission of expanding access to music education. Responsibilities Drive in-store sales of instruments, accessories, and services to meet or exceed targets Provide expert product recommendations to students, parents, and educators Support rental programs, lesson sign-ups, and repair service intake Maintain accurate POS transactions, cash handling, and sales records Merchandise and restock shelves to ensure an organized, attractive sales floor Build relationships with local schools, directors, and community music programs Educate customers on financing, warranties, and protection plans Assist with in store events, clinics, and community outreach activities Resolve basic customer concerns and escalate complex issues as needed Collaborate with teammates to achieve store goals and uphold company standards Required Skills Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Customer service Cash handling Merchandising Product knowledge - musical instruments Inventory management Sales reporting Upselling and cross-selling Basic CRM or customer tracking
