Learn about cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and current promotions so you can help customers make informed choices. Build customer relationships by listening to each person's needs. Verify orders and accurately process transactions through our point-of-sale system. Handle cash and cashless ATM transactions while maintaining an accurate cash drawer. Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming. Restock merchandise and maintain product displays. Assist with opening and closing procedures, inventory counts, and product organization. Package and weigh cannabis products as needed. Work with teammates and management to provide efficient service. Follow company policies and applicable Cannabis Control Commission regulations. Qualifications At least 2 years of retail and/or customer service experience. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be available to work current closing shifts ending at approximately 12:30 AM, with the flexibility to work until approximately 1:30 AM if operating hours are extended. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay accurate in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team. Basic computer proficiency. Sales and point-of-sale experience preferred. Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required. Employment is subject to required background review and eligibility for Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission agent registration. We provide cannabis product and compliance training. We're looking for someone who brings strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn. Schedule This is a full-time position averaging 40 paid hours per week, typically across 5 shifts. Our current hiring need is primarily for the 4:00 PM-12:30 AM closing shift. Zahara is planning to expand its operating hours to 7:00 AM-1:00 AM, potentially beginning in Spring 2027. Once those hours take effect, closing shifts are expected to end at approximately 1:30 AM after end-of-day responsibilities are complete. Availability to work closing shifts through approximately 1:30 AM when the expanded hours begin is required. Applicants must also be available to work weekends. Schedules may change to meet business needs.
