Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while actively engaging in sales activities. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that suit their needs. Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate products or financial solutions. Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash drawers, making change, and balancing registers at the end of shifts. Manage retail math tasks such as calculating totals, discounts, and payment processing efficiently. Support retail store operations by entering data into point-of-sale systems and maintaining accurate transaction records. Assist with loan processing and collections by providing information on retail lending options and following up on overdue accounts when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and ensure merchandise is properly displayed to maximize sales opportunities. Skills Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments with a focus on engaging clients effectively. Knowledge of banking or financial services, including cash handling, cash management, and cashiering procedures. Familiarity with retail store operations such as data entry, processing cash transactions, and managing a cash drawer. Strong math skills for retail math calculations, basic accounting tasks, and handling financial software systems. Ability to perform 10 key typing quickly and accurately for efficient transaction processing. Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding customer service and explain financial products clearly. Experience with loan collections, loan processing, or retail lending is a plus but not required.
