Duties Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including processing cash, credit, and debit payments accurately Handle cash drawer management, ensuring precise cash handling and reconciliation at shift end Support retail lending activities by explaining loan options and assisting with loan processing and collections when necessary Maintain accurate data entry of customer information using financial software and perform basic math calculations for transactions Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and guiding customers through product or service selections Manage cash transactions efficiently while adhering to cash management policies and procedures Experience Prior experience in retail sales or retail store environments is highly desirable Familiarity with banking or financial services enhances your ability to assist customers effectively Experience with cash handling, cashiering, or cashier training is preferred Knowledge of retail math, basic math skills, and proficiency in data entry are essential for accuracy in daily tasks Exposure to loan collections, loan processing, or retail lending provides a strong foundation for success in this role Comfort using financial software systems and performing 10-key typing tasks ensures smooth transaction processing Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude will help you thrive in this energetic role
