Budtender / Cannabis Sales AssociateJob Overview The Bridge MN is seeking motivated, friendly, dependable, and knowledgeable individuals to join our team as Budtenders at our adult-use cannabis dispensary in Taylors Falls, Minnesota. As a Budtender, you will be one of the primary faces of The Bridge and will help create a welcoming, professional, and educational experience for every customer. You will assist customers in understanding cannabis products, answer questions, make appropriate product recommendations, process sales, and help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant retail environment. Previous cannabis industry experience is not required. We are looking for people with strong customer service skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in cannabis. The Bridge will provide training on our products, procedures, point-of-sale system, security requirements, and applicable Minnesota cannabis regulations. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer service. Verify customer identification and age in accordance with Minnesota cannabis laws and The Bridge MN procedures. Learn and maintain knowledge of cannabis flower, pre-rolls, edibles, beverages, concentrates, topicals, and other products carried by the dispensary. Educate customers about available products and help them make informed purchasing decisions based on their preferences and experience. Provide responsible product information without making unauthorized medical or health claims. Accurately process customer transactions using the dispensary's point-of-sale system. Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately and responsibly. Follow Minnesota purchase limits and all other applicable sales restrictions. Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and displaying inventory. Maintain accurate inventory and follow required METRC and internal inventory procedures applicable to the position. Follow all security, restricted-access, diversion-prevention, and product-handling procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and professional retail and work areas. Recognize potentially fraudulent identification and follow company procedures for refusing prohibited sales. Participate in required employee training and remain familiar with applicable company SOPs. Immediately report inventory discrepancies, security concerns, suspected diversion, or other compliance issues to management. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Perform other retail duties necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the dispensary. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to pass state required background check. Must meet applicable eligibility requirements for employment at a Minnesota licensed cannabis business. Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Comfortable working directly with the public in a fast-paced retail environment. Ability and willingness to learn about cannabis products and Minnesota cannabis regulations. Ability to follow detailed policies, SOPs, security procedures, and regulatory requirements. Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, and inventory software. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Ability to maintain customer privacy and handle sensitive information appropriately. Ability to remain professional when refusing a sale or dealing with difficult customers. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal retail stocking and cleaning duties. Preferred Experience Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, cash handling, or another regulated industry is preferred. Previous cannabis experience and cannabis product knowledge are beneficial, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
