Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate to support students, parents, and educators in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide customers in selecting band and orchestra instruments, accessories, and lessons, using your product knowledge to match their goals and budgets. You'll process sales, rentals, and repairs, maintain merchandising standards, and help drive store revenue through add-on sales and promotions. You'll collaborate with teachers and school reps, provide exceptional customer service, and support a friendly, inclusive, performance-oriented team environment focused on music education. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting instruments, accessories, and lessons based on needs and budget Process retail and rental sales, lesson enrollments, and repair orders accurately Maintain merchandising, store appearance, and product displays to brand standards Promote add-on products, specials, and loyalty programs to drive revenue Provide knowledgeable guidance on band and orchestra instruments and basic music gear Support school service reps and educators with orders and student needs Handle customer inquiries, returns, and issues with a service-focused approach Use POS and inventory systems to complete transactions and check stock Assist with inventory counts, tagging, pricing, and stock replenishment Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and service KPIs Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Cash handling Product knowledge - musical instruments Merchandising Inventory management basics Upselling and cross-selling Communication skills Basic computer skills
