Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with integrity Assist customers with product information, including conducting product demos when applicable Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor looks inviting Practice excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and efficient checkout processes Conduct basic retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management tasks Qualifications Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures required Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of hardware store operations or retail environment is beneficial but not mandatory Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable shopping experiences!
