Part-Time Sales Associate - Shades of Beach Haven (August-September) Job Overview Shades of Beach Haven, part of the Ninety Six Shades family, is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for the rest of the summer season. Our Bay Avenue shop carries 1,000+ frames from 20+ top brands—Ray-Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim, Costa, Gucci, Prada, and more. Since our start in Stone Harbor, our whole thing has been helping every customer find their perfect pair, and that's what we'll train you to do. Great fit for someone energetic and customer-first who wants strong hourly pay plus commission and spiffs through Labor Day and beyond.
Compensation Base Pay:
Starting at $16/hour—more for experience and willingness to work at our other shore locations.
Commission:
2% on all sales.
Spiffs:
$5 per Maui Jim sold. $10 per select designer brands (Gucci, and more).
Prescription Sales:
$10 spiff + commission on every Rx sale.
Sign-On Bonus:

Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement:
Greet and assist customers, helping each one find their perfect pair.
Sales:
Maximize sales by sharing your knowledge of lens technology, fit, and style across our brands.
Product Knowledge:
Learn our lineup—from polarized performance frames to designer styles and prescription options—to confidently answer questions.
Cash Handling:
Operate the POS accurately and follow proper cash handling procedures.
Merchandising:
Keep the store organized, visually appealing, and stocked with the latest styles.
Teamwork:
Contribute to a fun, collaborative atmosphere.
Problem Solving:
Handle inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and a smile.
