In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with shopping carts and ensuring the shopping area stays tidy and inviting. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help create a smooth, enjoyable shopping experience for everyone. Duties Greet customers warmly as they enter and exit the store, offering assistance with carts and shopping needs. Collect and organize shopping carts from parking lots and store entrances to keep the area clean and accessible. Maintain cleanliness of cart areas, including sanitizing carts regularly to ensure safety and hygiene. Assist customers with product questions or directions around the store, providing friendly support. Restock cart corrals when needed, ensuring an ample supply of carts for shoppers at all times. Support merchandising efforts by helping with product demos or promotional displays when required. Communicate effectively with team members to report any issues or maintenance needs related to carts or store areas. Requirements Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required—training will be provided! Strong communication skills to interact confidently with diverse customers and team members. Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting carts and standing for extended periods. Bilingual abilities are appreciated to better serve our diverse community. Basic math skills for handling cash register operations during occasional cashier duties. Knowledge of retail store product placement, merchandising, and stock organization is beneficial. A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to help create a welcoming shopping environment.
