Good Karma Dispensary Job Summary Good Karma Dispensary is seeking professional, compassionate, and dependable Budtenders to join our team. Full-time and part-time positions are available based on experience and business needs. The Budtender is a customer-facing team member responsible for providing every guest with an exceptional, compliant, and personalized dispensary experience. This role involves educating customers about cannabis products, helping them make informed purchasing decisions, accurately processing transactions, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated retail environment. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience and Sales Greet every customer and visitor in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner. Educate customers about cannabis products, including product types, potential effects, benefits, and responsible use. Assess individual customer needs and provide personalized product recommendations. Answer questions clearly and accurately while creating a comfortable and trustworthy experience. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Support store sales goals through thoughtful recommendations and product education. Compliance and Safety Verify customer identification and ensure all transactions comply with applicable state cannabis regulations. Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain customer confidentiality and professional conduct at all times. Promptly report compliance concerns, transaction issues, or customer complaints to management. Inventory and Store Operations Assist with receiving, counting, restocking, and organizing inventory. Maintain accurate product handling and inventory records. Ensure products are properly displayed, stored, labeled, and secured. Support opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures as assigned. Store Maintenance and Team Support Maintain a clean, safe, and organized retail environment, including front-of-house and back-of-house areas. Assist management and other team members with daily operational needs. Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture. Perform additional duties as assigned to support dispensary operations. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to pass all required background checks. High school diploma or GED required. One to three years of retail, hospitality, customer service, or related experience preferred. Cannabis industry experience preferred. Experience with Treez, METRC, Alpine IQ, Dispense, or similar systems is preferred but not required. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Skills and Competencies Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Willingness to learn and remain current on cannabis products and regulations. Professional appearance and a positive attitude. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a team. Work Environment On-site retail dispensary environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
