The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bakery Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our bakery operates smoothly, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation while assisting customers with their selections. Availability Tuesday through Saturday 9 to 5 Duties Assist customers in selecting bakery items, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling products to enhance their experience. Prepare and package baked goods according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Ensure products are displayed attractively and replenished as necessary Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure that all products are fresh and appealing. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Basic culinary skills, including food preparation techniques, are beneficial. Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
