Music & Arts seeks a full-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver outstanding service in our busy retail store. In this role, you'll assist students, parents, and educators with band and orchestra instruments, rentals, repairs, accessories, and private lesson enrollment. You'll lead by example on the sales floor, support merchandising and inventory, and help train junior associates. Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, retail sales experience, and a passion for music education and community engagement. Responsibilities Provide consultative sales support to students, parents, and educators for instruments, accessories, and lessons Drive sales of rentals, repairs, and lesson programs to meet or exceed store targets Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience Operate POS systems accurately, including cash handling and basic reporting Support merchandising, pricing, and visual standards on the sales floor Help maintain accurate inventory through receiving, stocking, and cycle counts Assist with training and mentoring junior sales associates Promote Music & Arts programs and events that support music education and community outreach Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Cash handling Product merchandising Inventory management Music instrument product knowledge Lesson and rental program enrollment Basic data entry Communication skills
