Job Description
Online Parts & Marketplace Sales Representative - Commission Based Edge Motors is looking for a motivated, organized, and sales-driven person to manage the online sale of automotive parts, equipment, tools, and other items. This is a commission-based position with earning potential based directly on your sales performance. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the complete selling process—from researching an item and determining its value to communicating with customers, completing the sale, and arranging shipment. Responsibilities Photograph and create online listings for automotive parts and other items List products on Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and other appropriate online marketplaces Research current market prices and determine competitive selling prices Research part numbers, applications, vehicle fitment, and product information when necessary Respond to customer questions and sales inquiries Handle negotiations and follow up with potential buyers Maintain professional communication with customers from initial inquiry through completion of the sale Keep track of available inventory and sold items Prepare sold parts and products for shipment Determine appropriate shipping methods and costs Package items properly and arrange shipping Provide customers with tracking information and shipping updates Coordinate local pickups when applicable Help identify items around the shop that can be sold rather than discarded or left unused What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is independent, resourceful, and comfortable researching products without needing constant supervision. Automotive parts knowledge is a major plus, but we will consider someone with strong online sales experience who is willing and able to learn. You should be comfortable using computers, smartphones, online marketplaces, internet research, messaging, and shipping services. Experience with any of the following is a plus: Automotive parts eBay Facebook Marketplace Online sales Parts identification and research Customer service Sales and negotiation Shipping and packaging Compensation Commission-based compensation. Your income will be directly tied to the items you successfully sell. This can be a strong opportunity for someone who is good at online sales and wants the ability to increase their earnings based on their own performance. The exact commission structure will be discussed based on experience and responsibilities.
