Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Part Time Cashier/Clothing and Footwear Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver outstanding shopping experiences by assisting customers with their purchases, managing transactions efficiently, and providing product knowledge. Your enthusiasm for outdoor gear and retail sales will help create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and customer satisfaction. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding clothing, footwear, or outdoor gear that meets their needs Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Maintain clean and organized merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of key items Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic retail math calculations Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, store policies, or promotions Qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Experience supervising or leading others is advantageous but not required Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos is beneficial Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally in all interactions Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions are essential Previous experience in grocery stores or outdoor retail environments is a plus Join our employee owned company and be part of an energetic team dedicated to inspiring outdoor adventures!
