Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and cash handling Assist customers with product demos, upselling, and answering questions about store merchandise and product knowledge Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented through effective merchandising techniques Manage retail math tasks such as calculating discounts, totals, and change accurately using basic math skills Handle cash drawer handling responsibilities with attention to detail and accountability Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person, ensuring clear communication at all times Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the store environment Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and cash register operations enhances performance in this role Strong communication skills to engage customers confidently and collaborate with team members Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising best practices is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
