Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their purchases, demonstrate product features, and ensure the sales floor remains well-stocked and appealing. Key responsibilities include greeting customers warmly, conducting product demonstrations, managing retail transactions accurately at the cash register, and upselling items to maximize sales. Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with a broader customer base. You will also handle stock replenishment, maintain merchandising standards, and uphold excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers remotely or over the phone. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and reflects our commitment to outstanding customer service. Duties Greet customers professionally and provide knowledgeable assistance about store products. Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions. Handle cash register operations including cash handling, cashiering, and cash drawer balancing. Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain accurate retail math for transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures. Stock shelves regularly, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented. Assist with inventory management by stocking new products and conducting stock counts. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism. Support merchandising efforts by setting up attractive displays aligned with store standards. Follow all store policies regarding phone etiquette, cash handling, and sales procedures. Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and retail math calculations. Experience in conducting product demos and upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer populations. Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising best practices. Ability to handle cash register operations accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Salary:

$14 to $20 /hour on average (base pay + commission)
