Responsibilities Drive furniture and bedding sales through consultative, commission-based selling Greet customers, assess needs, and recommend appropriate products and protection plans Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, pricing, promotions, and financing options Create attractive merchandise presentations and ensure sales floor cleanliness and organization Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle customer inquiries Meet or exceed individual and department sales goals and key performance metrics Build repeat business through follow-up, relationship-building, and exceptional service Coordinate with inventory and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery Resolve basic customer issues and escalate complex concerns when needed Support store events, promotions, and other duties as assigned by management Required Skills Retail sales Furniture product knowledge Bedding and mattress product knowledge Point-of-sale (POS) systems Customer relationship management Merchandising and display Cash handling and reconciliation Upselling and cross-selling Basic math for pricing and financing Conflict resolution
