Music & Arts seeks a full-time Senior Sales Associate to support our mission of advancing music education. In this customer-facing role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, accessories, rentals, and lessons, delivering knowledgeable, student-focused service. You'll drive sales, enroll students in lessons, support school service programs, and maintain merchandising and inventory standards. Ideal candidates have strong retail or music background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping communities make music. Responsibilities Drive sales of instruments, accessories, and lessons to meet or exceed store goals Provide expert, student-focused product recommendations to parents, educators, and musicians Support rental programs, lesson enrollment, and school services initiatives Maintain merchandising, pricing accuracy, and store presentation standards Process transactions, returns, and special orders accurately in POS systems Build relationships with local schools, directors, and community partners Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and loss prevention Troubleshoot basic customer issues and coordinate repairs and service orders Required Skills Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Customer relationship management Product knowledge - musical instruments Merchandising and inventory control Cash handling and reconciliation Lesson and rental program enrollment Communication and presentation Basic repair triage and service intake School and community outreach
