Music & Arts is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to support our busy retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. You'll provide expert, service-focused support on the sales floor, process transactions, maintain merchandising standards, and assist with rental and repair intake. You'll also help promote lessons and in school programs, work collaboratively with store and school service teams, and uphold a welcoming, inclusive, music centered environment for our community. Responsibilities Provide consultative sales support to students, parents, and educators for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons Process sales, rentals, and returns accurately using POS systems Support intake and coordination for repairs and service orders Maintain merchandising standards, signage, and product displays Promote private lessons, educational programs, and special promotions Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly, inclusive environment Collaborate with store team and school service representatives to meet goals Maintain product knowledge of band and orchestra instruments and accessories Assist with inventory, stocking, and store cleanliness Support peak seasonal traffic and flexible retail scheduling needs Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Cash handling Product merchandising Inventory management Music instrument knowledge (band and orchestra) Rental program processing Basic repair intake documentation Communication skills
