Honey Rock Books and Cafe is a new two-story bookstore cafe in the heart of Gallatin's historic square. We're creating a space where books, culture, and great food come together—warm, welcoming, and full of life. As a family-run business rooted in Christian values, we're building a space that reflects kindness, integrity, compassion, and community. We aim to offer an atmosphere that feels like home—one that welcomes families, sparks meaningful conversation about literary works, and encourages creativity and connection. The Bookstore Our space features a thoughtfully curated book collection, cozy seating, and a cafe inspired by South Florida culture—serving Cuban coffee, pastries, and international bites. Together, it's a place where stories are shared—whether on the page or across the table.
Who We're Looking For:
We're hiring a Bookstore & Events Coordinator to help build and run the bookstore and events side of Honey Rock. This is a hands-on position combining our bookstore with our growing events and catering side of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Helping customers in the bookstore and recommending books Organizing, shelving and maintaining book displays Assisting with daily bookstore operations and customer service Responding to private event, space rental and catering inquiries Following up with potential clients and helping turn inquiries into bookings Helping create and maintain event and catering packages and pricing Coordinating event details and keeping bookings organized Promoting upcoming Honey Rock events and helping increase attendance Reaching out to local businesses, organizations and groups to generate new event and catering opportunities Helping grow our private event, catering and community event business

Requirements:
1 year of similar professional experience ( required ) Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine love for serving people. Highly organized with strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Positive attitude and ability to motivate others. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to make sound decisions. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
