Job title Salesperson - Tractors, Mowers & UTVs Company intro Bill's Tractor & More is a locally owned equipment dealership serving Hondo and the surrounding South Texas ranching and rural communities. We specialize in new and used tractors, mowers, UTVs, and implements, backed by a full parts and service department. Our team is focused on honest advice, long-term customer relationships, and helping customers find the right equipment for their property. Position summary We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Salesperson to join our team at Bill's Tractor in Hondo, TX. In this role, you'll work with walk-in, phone, and internet leads to sell tractors, mowers, UTVs, and package deals to homeowners, farmers, and ranchers. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, learning equipment features, and closing deals while delivering a high level of customer service. Key responsibilities Greet customers on the lot and in the showroom, quickly build rapport, and identify their needs. Present tractors, mowers, UTVs, and implements, explaining features, benefits, and options in plain language. Create and present equipment package quotes (tractor, loader, mower, trailer, etc.) and finance options. Follow up promptly with leads from phone calls, walk-ins, website inquiries, and social media. Work closely with the finance, parts, and service departments to ensure smooth delivery and a great ownership experience. Maintain product knowledge on key brands and models, including specs, warranties, and promotions. Use dealership CRM or tracking tools to log customer interactions and manage your sales pipeline. Help keep the lot and showroom organized and ready for customers (signage, tags, basic equipment display) Qualifications Previous experience in equipment, automotive, farm/ranch, or retail sales preferred but not required. Comfort talking with farmers, ranchers, and rural property owners; agriculture background is a plus. Strong communication skills, professional appearance, and a friendly, confident approach with customers. Basic understanding of tractors, mowers, or UTVs—or willingness to learn quickly. Ability to work Saturdays and some extended hours during busy seasons. Valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record. What we offer Competitive base pay plus commission.
