Music & Arts is seeking a full-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and provide outstanding customer service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. You'll execute daily store operations, maintain merchandising standards, process transactions, and support store events and school outreach. You will mentor junior associates, meet sales goals, and uphold a student-focused, collaborative, and inclusive culture that supports music education in the community. Responsibilities Provide consultative sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons Deliver excellent customer service to students, parents, and educators Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately Maintain merchandising, stocking, and store presentation standards Support store events and local school outreach activities Mentor and support junior sales associates Handle basic customer issues and escalate when needed Maintain product knowledge of instruments, accessories, and services Uphold safety, loss prevention, and company policies Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Cash handling Product merchandising Inventory management Music product knowledge Sales reporting Conflict resolution Time management
