Barons Creek Vineyards is seeking enthusiastic Support Staff to help us create memorable experiences for every guest. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build customer service and hospitality skills. No previous work experience is required—we will provide training! About the Role Our Support Staff are often the first and last people our guests interact with, making this position an important part of the overall guest experience. You will welcome guests, assist with seating and reservations, maintain clean and inviting spaces, and support the tasting room team throughout each shift. Key Responsibilities Greet arriving and departing guests with warmth and professionalism Check in reservations and manage the guest waitlist Provide accurate wait times and escort guests to their assigned tasting areas Present menus and introduce guests to their server Explain current promotions and answer basic questions about the winery Answer incoming telephone calls and direct questions appropriately Assist wine club members and accommodate special guest requests Monitor the tasting room and anticipate guest needs Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables and tasting areas Wash, polish, and restock glassware Restock menus, water, supplies, and other service materials Assist with wine club pickups Help maintain clean, organized, and clutter-free guest areas Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol-service policies Support servers, managers, and fellow team members wherever needed What We're Looking For A friendly, upbeat, and outgoing personality A genuine interest in helping people and providing excellent service Dependability and a strong work ethic Clear and professional communication skills The ability to stay organized and attentive in a fast-paced environment A willingness to learn and accept direction The ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team Flexibility to work a variety of shifts Saturday availability is required Physical Requirements Applicants must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, reach, stoop, and perform routine cleaning tasks Carry trays, glassware, and supplies weighing approximately 10-30 pounds Communicate effectively in a busy and sometimes loud environment Remain focused and attentive throughout the shift Why Join Barons Creek Vineyards?
