Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to champion music education in our retail store. You'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons while delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities include driving sales, managing rentals, scheduling lessons, maintaining merchandising and inventory, and supporting store events and school outreach. You'll model best practices for the sales team, help meet store goals, and uphold a collaborative, student-focused culture that connects customers with the tools they need to make music. Responsibilities Provide expert, friendly guidance to students, parents, and educators on instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons Drive retail and rental sales, consistently working toward individual and store revenue goals Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately using POS and scheduling systems Maintain attractive merchandising, signage, and product displays that support promotions and education Monitor and help manage inventory, including counts, stocking, and product organization Support in-store events, school service initiatives, and community outreach that promote music education Model best practices for sales and service, supporting and mentoring less-experienced team members Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure an excellent experience Collaborate with store leadership to execute daily operations and achieve performance targets Uphold Music & Arts' student-focused, inclusive, and service-driven culture in all interactions Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Cash handling and reconciliation Product merchandising Inventory management Music instrument product knowledge Lesson scheduling systems Sales reporting Communication skills
