Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Keyholder to join our team. As a sales associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. If you have a passion for sales and enjoy working in a specialty foods environment, we would love to hear from you. Supervisory duties additionally include responsibility for opening and closing store, receiving merchandise (physically and electronically), merchandising and light supervision of other staff.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and maintain hospitable relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
• Provide product knowledge and information to customers
• Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and organizing merchandise
• Process cash, charge and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently
• Help the sales and management team meet sales targets and goals
• Assist with inventory management, receiving merchandise into stockroom, store floor and Square
• Assist with inventories
• Restock and organize product daily
• Open and close cash registers and generate reports
• Open store/secure building w/alarm system at end of workday.
• Direct seasonal staff on how best to help with daily work
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and store events
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including light housekeeping

Requirements:

Skills:

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work well in a small team environment
• Familiarity with technology products (e.g., electronics, wireless devices) is a plus
• Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and preferences
