Lilies & Weeds of Cedarburg is looking to expand our team of (part-time, full-time) sales floor associates to engage with customers & increase sales, for both stores. You'll learn how to sell our curated selection of products to locals & tourists of all ages! Lillies Women's, children's & baby boutique. Fair traded, earth friendly, meaningful goods. Weeds Quality, earth friendly, handcrafted goods for home & garden. Locally-sourced wellness items & over 300 teas. Daily Responsibilities Interact with customers & provide knowledgeable customer service Understanding the customer's needs & using suggestive selling to increase sales Be friendly & professional Maintain store cleanliness & product displays You Must Be Able To Approach & start conversations with customers Confidently discuss benefits & uses of a variety of teas, wellness, home & garden products (training provided at Weeds) Confidently assist customers & upsell while putting together gifts for kids & babies (training provided at Lillies) Multi-task to assist multiple customers Increase sales without being pushy Work in a dynamic environment, especially during local festivals, peak tourist season & holidays Maintain a calm, professional demeanor Operate our POS system & process sales transactions Bend, lift & reach when assisting customers & maintaining the store Stand for entirety of your shift Work weekends, festivals & around the holidays Who You Are Have at least 2 years of retail, sales or customer service experience preferred A strong communicator, including conversation & active listening with customers, co-workers & management Passionate about connecting with people & providing attentive customer service Knowledgeable about natural wellness is a bonus, but not a requirement Love learning new products & offering genuine insight Comfortable working in fast-paced, busy work environment Have an outgoing personality Have a flexible schedule & ability to work weekends, festivals & near-holidays Lillies & Weeds provide in-store, product & employee training.
