Job Description
We are seeking a part-time retail sales associate for our downtown Port Washington music shop. This position would require working weekends. Applicant must have a positive work history, be trustworthy, and over the age of 18 years. The retail sales associate is responsible for helping customers, selling merchandise, stocking, tuning/cleaning instruments, and keeping the store clean and orderly. Knowledge of musical instruments is required, and preference will be given to someone that can also do light instrument maintenance such as restrings. Pay starts at $13 an hour. Lakeside Music is a small, family-owned music shop, which has been in Ozaukee County since 2015. We sell instruments and accessories, clothing, gifts, and more, as well as offer instrument repair, a rent-to-own instrument program, purchase used instruments, offer lessons, and are the home of Music Together with Lakeside Music, and Amplify Cafe. A shop discount is offered after 90 days of employment.
