Job Description

Full-Time Resort Services Team Member - Shamrock Pet Resort Shamrock Pet Resort is looking for a Full-Time Resort Services Team Member to join our team! This is a hands-on, cross-trained position that includes boarding care, daycare, and front desk/customer service duties. You will have the opportunity to work with pets throughout the day while also helping our clients and keeping the resort running smoothly. We are looking for someone who loves animals, enjoys working with people, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team. Our ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position involves hands-on animal care, cleaning, customer service, and maintaining a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for every pet in our care. Schedule Full-time position with both opening and closing shifts. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Our pets need care every day of the year. Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on resort needs. Responsibilities Provide hands-on care for boarding pets, including feeding, watering, potty breaks, exercise, and enrichment. Read and follow pet care instructions and boarding contracts to ensure each pet's needs are met. Administer medications as directed and permitted by resort policy. Supervise dogs in daycare and maintain a safe, fun, and positive environment. Monitor pets for health or behavioral concerns and report concerns to management. Clean up pet waste, including urine, feces, and vomit, and maintain clean and sanitary pet areas. Clean and disinfect kennels, daycare areas, bowls, floors, and other common areas. Complete laundry, take out trash, and restock supplies as needed. Provide friendly customer service and assist clients with questions and check-in/check-out. Learn and use our computer and reservation system. Answer phones and assist with scheduling boarding, daycare, grooming, and training appointments. Work as part of a team and be willing to help wherever needed. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care. Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed. Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. Comfortable learning new computer software and handling multiple phone lines. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, as well as working around cats and other pets. Previous experience in a pet resort, boarding facility, dog daycare, kennel, veterinary clinic, or customer service role is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions while caring for pets. Comfortable working in an environment with barking dogs, cats, pet hair, and pet accidents. Join Our Team!
