Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, and supporting product sales in a fast-paced retail setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and communicates effectively. In addition to hourly pay, team members may earn tips and have the opportunity for a $2-$3 per hour increase based on performance. This role also includes maintaining a clean, organized store and contributing to a calm, respectful, and professional environment for customers and coworkers. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processing customer transactions in a timely manner. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while following proper cash-handling procedures. Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns professionally. Assist with product recommendations and upselling to improve the customer experience and support sales goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor; restock and face products as needed. Support merchandising efforts by ensuring displays are neat, attractive, and replenished. Conduct basic product demonstrations and communicate promotions or special offers when appropriate. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations, especially during busy periods. Perform basic calculations to ensure accurate pricing, change, and transaction totals.

Qualifications / Experience

Previous cashier or retail sales experience is preferred, but not required (training will be provided). Vape shop experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and reliability with cash-handling procedures. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and coworkers. Experience with stocking, merchandising, or product demonstrations is a plus.
