Our first U.S. flagship store recently opened in San Gabriel, California. As we expand our presence in the U.S., we are building a strong leadership team to drive operational excellence, uphold brand standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences every day. Job Summary As the Store Manager, you are the heart of the GUIJI experience. You own the store's performance, from the quality of every drink served to the development of every team member. You set the culture, uphold brand standards, and are ultimately accountable for operational excellence, financial results, and guest satisfaction. You will lead, inspire, and develop a team of Assistant Store Managers and Shift Leads, creating an environment where people grow, guests feel welcomed, and first-time visitors become loyal returning guests. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Responsibilities People & Team Interview, hire, and onboard store employees; manage performance and handle separations when necessary Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team; mentor Assistant Store Managers and Shift Leads to build a strong internal pipeline Train team members and instruct Shift Leads to consistently uphold GUIJI's quality and brand standards Maintain open communication with employees to understand their needs and foster a positive, collaborative work environment Allocate tips accurately and process payroll in a timely manner Operations Oversee all opening and closing procedures, daily checklists, and inventory reporting Build and manage staff schedules aligned with business needs and the event calendar to optimize labor efficiency Monitor and maintain daily inventory levels; manage replenishment orders for all store supplies including frozen goods, tea leaves, dairy, packaging materials, and consumables Update and maintain the Chowbus menu and all delivery platform listings to ensure accuracy Serve as the primary point of contact for POS troubleshooting and all third-party delivery platform communications Manage group orders and coordinate fulfillment to ensure accuracy and timeliness Update store forms, checklists, and operational documents as needed to reflect current procedures Maintain the highest standard of store cleanliness, safety, and organization at all times Financial & Brand Own store financial performance: monitor sales, control costs, analyze key metrics, and implement strategies to drive profitability Handle customer complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset, turning every experience into an opportunity to build loyalty Set and uphold store culture, brand standards, and guest experience expectations across every shift Qualifications & Expectations At least 2 years of store management or general manager experience in food and beverage, retail, or hospitality Proven track record of leading and developing teams, managing operations, and delivering results Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust, navigate conflict, and foster an inclusive team culture Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating with autonomy in a growing company Genuine passion for people development and building a long-term career in leadership Mandarin speaking ability preferred!! Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment What We Expect From You Flexible availability to work both opening and closing shifts based on business needs Store operating hours are 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM; opening shifts may begin as early as 9:00 AM, and closing shifts may end around 12:00 -12:30 AM Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required Certification Valid California Food Handler Card Valid Food Protection Manager Certification Compensation & Benefits $6,000 - $7,000 per month Paid training Paid time off Flexible scheduling Complimentary shift drink Employee discount Friends & family discount GUIJI is an equal opportunity employer.
