Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and flexible store manager to assist in the day to day at our busy year round ice cream store. This store is fast paced, and high volume. The ideal candidate would oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team, manage inventory and merchandising, and uphold operational excellence. This leader needs to lead by example and will be working amongst team not just overseeing staff. Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing retail sales team Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability Implement merchandising standards and ensure the store maintains an appealing presentation aligned with brand guidelines Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and reporting while ensuring smooth cashiering operations Monitor store performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions Skills Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight Strong negotiation skills to optimize purchasing agreements and vendor relationships Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued for diverse customer engagement Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training & development, and supervising staff effectively Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Effective managerial communication skills to motivate teams and coordinate store activities seamlessly Experience with operational management tasks such as shift management, merchandising, stock control, and customer service excellence We value proactive individuals who thrive on teamwork, innovation, and operational excellence—ready to lead our store into its next chapter!
