For Heaven Shakes Ice Cream is looking for an experienced, dependable Store Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our busy, locally owned ice cream shop. We've been serving Downtown Bonita Springs since 2009 and are known for great ice cream, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We are looking for a manager who can keep that atmosphere fun while making sure the store is properly staffed, well stocked, clean, organized and running smoothly. This is a hands-on management position — not a desk job. Our manager works alongside the team and jumps in wherever needed. What You'll Be Responsible For

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the ice cream shop
• Hire, train, supervise and develop employees
• Prepare and maintain the weekly employee schedule
• Make sure shifts are properly staffed and manage coverage when necessary
• Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable
• Train employees in customer service, portion control, food preparation, cleaning, sanitation and store procedures
• Monitor employee performance and address issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain inventory levels and complete product ordering
• Monitor food costs, portion control, waste and product usage
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure products are properly stocked, rotated, filled and dated
• Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, drawer balancing and opening/closing procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization and presentation
• Ensure food safety, sanitation and company procedures are consistently followed
• Identify equipment or maintenance issues and see that they are addressed
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally
• Communicate regularly with ownership regarding staffing, inventory, costs and important store issues
• Work alongside the team serving ice cream, shakes, sundaes, banana splits and other menu items during busy periods
• Open and close the store according to company procedures The Person We're Looking For We want a dependable, hands-on leader who takes leadership of the store and enjoys working with customers and the entire staff.

You should be organized, positive and fair, while also being comfortable setting expectations and holding employees accountable. You notice what needs to be done and take care of it. You can solve everyday problems without needing constant direction, while knowing when something needs to be brought to ownership's attention. You understand that portion control, waste, ordering, staffing and overtime all affect the bottom line — and you treat those costs as though they matter. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can manage the store as if it were their own, while respecting that it is ours. Qualifications

• Previous management or strong supervisory experience in food service is required
• Experience scheduling, training and supervising employees
• Experience with inventory, ordering, portion control and food costs
• POS and cash-handling experience
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, organized and comfortable making decisions
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs require
• Food Manager Certification required within 30 days of hiring For Heaven Shakes is a seven-day-a-week operation. Our store closes at 9 p.m. Compensation $24
• 26 per hour, based on experience
