JOB DESCRIPTION

The Kart Shop Manager position consists of overseeing day-to-day operations and constant communication. Responsible for Mechanic Shop Staff in maintaining rental karts - making sure the karts are regularly maintained and safe to operate. •Pay will be discussed during interview and will depend on experience.•

JOB DUTIES

Oversees and monitors parts and inventory. 3. Perform and administer work on karts, in regards to repairing, cleaning and/or general servicing. 4. Weekly scheduling of mechanics along with coordinating regular staff meetings. 5. Scheduling of test & tune events. 6. Adheres to work procedures and processes that support the company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives. 7. Provides the mechanics with the tools needed to have a clean and safe working environment. 8. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Work Environment This job performs in an indoor and outdoor setting. Need to have the ability to work in adverse weather conditions in an outdoor setting when needed and stand for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment. Physical Demands The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 150 pounds. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary Wednesday through Sunday during business hours. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand. No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or GED diploma or equivalent number of years' experience. 2. 5 to 7 years mechanical experience.
