Job Description

The Modern Workplace Manager is responsible for helping design, build, administer, and continuously improve Coke Northeast's Microsoft 365 modern workplace environment. The initial focus of this role will be SharePoint Online, including development of an enterprise hub, reusable site templates, information architecture, governance standards, and scalable business solutions. The role will also support Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Viva, and related collaboration technologies, while helping associates understand how to use these tools effectively and responsibly. As the environment matures, the position may expand to support additional business applications, automation, and digital workplace capabilities.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities Design, build, and administer SharePoint Online sites, hub sites, navigation, lists, libraries, content types, metadata, and permissions.

Help establish and maintain an enterprise SharePoint hub that provides a consistent, intuitive experience across departments and locations.

Create and maintain reusable site templates, page templates, naming standards, governance controls, and lifecycle practices to improve consistency and reduce duplication.

Partner with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical Microsoft 365 solutions.

Administer and support Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Viva, and related modern workplace services in coordination with Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Communications, and business stakeholders.

Develop user guides, knowledge articles, quick-reference materials, and role-based training for Copilot, SharePoint, Teams, Viva, and other supported platforms.

Lead demonstrations, office hours, workshops, and targeted adoption activities for technical and non-technical audiences.

Promote responsible use of Copilot and other AI-enabled tools by reinforcing data handling, security, privacy, and governance expectations.

Evaluate and implement low-code/no-code solutions using SharePoint Lists, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related tools when appropriate.

Monitor service health, usage, adoption, storage, permissions, and configuration; troubleshoot issues and coordinate escalations with Microsoft or other partners.

Maintain technical documentation, solution inventories, support procedures, and change records.

Participate in testing, release planning, and change management for Microsoft 365 updates and new capabilities.

Ensure solutions follow accessibility, records management, information protection, retention, and cyber security requirements.

Support additional enterprise applications and digital workplace initiatives as the role evolves.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3+ years of hands-on SharePoint Online administration and solution-building experience.

Demonstrated experience with SharePoint hub sites, modern pages, site architecture, permissions, lists, libraries, metadata, content types, search, and governance.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and the broader Microsoft 365 administration ecosystem.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, agents, or other generative AI productivity tools is preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Viva, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, or Power BI is preferred.

Ability to gather business requirements, recommend practical solutions, and balance usability with security and governance.

Experience creating documentation and delivering training to users with varied levels of technical comfort.

Strong written, verbal, presentation, and customer service skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow work through to completion.

Understanding of information security, data privacy, records retention, accessibility, and least-privilege access principles.

Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, adoption, or Copilot are preferred.

Valid driver's license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets company requirements.
